Joanne Wise has worked in
child care for 30+ years. She has served as director for several child care
centers throughout Maryland. In 2014, Joanne decided to open the doors to Wise
Choice Child Development Center in Abingdon, Maryland; the same town where she
raised her family. Joanne has been married to Calvin (Jr.) for 28 years and they
have two sons, Sean and Calvin III. Both sons are proud graduates of
Calvert Hall College High School. Sean Wise is a senior at Frostburg State
University and Calvin Wise is the Senior Associate Director of Admissions at
Johns Hopkins University. The Wise family
has lived in Abingdon for over 25 years and Joanne understands the needs of its
diverse and transient population. She
has utilized her vast knowledge to create a child development center that is
dedicated to the needs of your child.

Kaycee joined our family in September 2014. She brought with her ideas and a plan, and has made amazing lessons and discoveries with the children. She is enthiastic and motivated, and is a wonderful teacher!
